Important Advisory: Protect Yourself From Rental Scams

Dear Voyager Beach Club Owners,

We want to bring an important matter to your attention to help protect you and our entire ownership community from potential fraud.
Recently, we have experienced a couple of unfortunate instances in which individuals claimed to own specific units at the Voyager and offered them for rent. Prospective renters sent payment, only to later discover that the person posting the unit was not the legitimate owner. Recovering those funds proved extremely difficult and created unnecessary frustration for everyone involved.
To safeguard yourself and avoid similar situations, we ask all owners to please exercise caution when communicating with anyone offering a rental, especially if the offer comes from a private listing, social media post, or unsolicited message.

How to Protect Yourself:

Verify ownership before sending any money. Always ask the individual to specify exactly which unit and week they claim to own.

Cross-check with our records. If you have any doubts, no matter how small, please contact the Voyager Beach Club front desk. Our staff can quickly confirm whether the individual is, in fact, the rightful owner of that unit.

Be wary of pressure tactics. Scammers often try to rush the process or discourage verification. Take your time and double-check.
Your safety and peace of mind are extremely important to us. With a few simple precautions, we can all help ensure that rental transactions remain secure and trouble-free.

If you ever have questions or need assistance verifying ownership, the front desk is always here to support you.
